Hello Everyone,

Welcome to IETF 101 in London hosted by Google and ICANN. We are expecting

over 1,300 attendees from 80 plus countries, including more than 250

First Timers.

This 101All list is used for one-way administrative announcements by

the IETF Chair, the Secretariat, the NOC, and myself, the IAD. It

will be used sparingly.

You can follow the IETF on Twitter!: @IETF

Again, welcome and have a productive meeting.

IMPORTANT MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

Hot RFC Lighting Talks

Join us in Balmoral on Sunday from 18:00-19:00 for the
Request for Conversation (HotRFC) lightning talk session! Goals
include encouraging brainstorming conversations, helping new work
ideas to find co-collaborators, raising awareness of relevant
work going on elsewhere, and promote BarBofs.

Fiamma Restaurant Lunch Buffet

The hotel will be offering the following menu at the Fiamma
restaurant for £17,50 per person from Monday to Thursday.
                  1. Soup or assorted salad bowl
                  2. Hot buffet item (fish/vegetarian/meat)
                  3. Fruit salad and dessert choice
                  4. Coffee or tea
                  5. Soft drink

Code Lounge

All attendees now have the opportunity to schedule time in
the Code Lounge to continue to work on hackathon and other coding
projects during the week of IETF 101:
https://trac.ietf.org/trac/ietf/meeting/wiki/101codelounge <https://trac.ietf.org/trac/ietf/meeting/wiki/101codelounge>

The Code Lounge is a portion of the IETF Lounge set aside for
groups to meet informally to brainstorm, code and otherwise test
out their ideas. We hope that you give it a try, and we look
forward to hearing any suggestions on how it can be improved.

In addition, because we know that snacking leads to better coding,
we will be providing some snacks in the IETF 101 Code Lounge
(Sovereign room) each afternoon, Monday through Thursday.

Hackdemo Happy Hour

Join us in Sovereign on Monday from 18:00-20:00 to view
demonstrations of the great work that was done during the
Hackathon! Snacks will be provided and a cash bar available.
