Gentlepeople,
As the meeting comes to a close, and now that we’ve got everything back up after the power failure, we wanted to update everyone on the shutdown schedule for the IETF Network. The wireless APs that deliver the main IETF networks in the Fairmont meeting rooms will be removed throughout the day tomorrow as sessions come to a close. The Terminal Room will be closing Friday at 3pm.

The “ietf-hotel” said will be made “invisible” (non-broadcast) around Noon. While you’re welcome to use it as long as it’s working, we will be in the process of decommissioning the network all afternoon. Similarly, the guest room ethernet connections will revert to the Fairmont infrastructure at around Noon.

Let me thank Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti and A10 again for their contributions of equipment, and Telus and MetroOptic/OpenFace for the Internet circuits.

We hope you all have a good trip home and look forward to seeing everyone in Bangkok!

	- Jim and the NOC Team
