You are correct.  

My advice is if you have a physical NEXUS card or GE card _bring it with you_.  It’s normally not useful for much, but when flying back from Canada if you have your GE or NEXUS card you can get in the expedited security line.  Find your card if you have it.

If you don’t have NEXUS or GE and qualify, consider getting it.  NEXUS is cheaper than GE (not by much, but maybe you don’t care?) and works well if you have a family and is a superset as mentioned previously.  If you will be in Vancouver or ever go to Canada again in the next 5 years, it’s useful.
