Hi All, One of the things I attempt to do at some of the larger international gathering is meet with people who are looking at Africa for potential growth or just have a general interest in what is going on in the region, so that I can hear if there are technical challenges or ideas that we can take into account as to proceed to look at our own strategies on the continent, to ensure that what we are doing lines up with the future needs of the rest of the world. So, just thought I would send out a general greeting and say if anyone would like to meet up and chat about what is going on with regards to the technical side in Africa, particularly the Southern and Eastern sections of the continent where most of my focus is, I’d welcome conversations and to hear plans or answer any questions based on what I know about the region – and in particular hear what plans people may have so that we can ensure technical alignment in our own strategies internally. The technical challenges and opportunities in Africa as the continent moves forward are… interesting, and I figured that engagement is always important, so – if you are interested in discussions around this – please let me know off list and we can meet up, I’ll be around till Friday. (And please, rest assured, I’m not a sales person, and don’t plan to try and sell anything!) Thanks Andrew
