You still need to do the interview at a Canadian airport. Pick one that has a US entry point as well; that way you do both interviews in one fell swoop. Generally, I've found going to smaller cities to provide better appointment times; Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, they're likely to be more booked, but not always - it pays to check around.
