Thinking about an additional burden for the organizers, including additional trailer with power stripes, crossing borders, clearing customs, negotiating with hotels, legal and certification issues, etc…

But… 
I have seen very nice merchandise labeled «ISOC» which is _compact_ _universal_ power adaptor,

I think that ordering a bunch of it and distributing near registration desk will solve the problem.
Considering that significant part of attendees are recurring ones, after several meetings all participants will have their own universal adaptor proudly labeled «ISOC»  and the problem will cease… ;)
