Yes, it is possible it doesnt use hardware acceleration.

This option is not an option that pops up easily in the eye of a user of
Windows.  It must be hidden somewhere.  I dont even know whether this
notion of acceleration still exists, or what was yesterday an artificial
acceleration is now builtin by default.
