Toerless, not sure what you mean: we have a fee waiver option for free participation, which is probably the most comfortable option if you want to actively participate.

However, if you are only on the live audio stream and jabber, or don't want to use your audio for any reason, e.g. because of technical problems or limitations, so far people didn't had problems to find someone to relay comments; it's just the case that we need this less often because remote participants can now much easier actively participate themselves.

So, i am trying to sort this stuff:

Q: Is it correct to assume that by now someone who is ONLY on jabber,
but not on meetecho has no reasonable expectation to participate in the
meeting becaus we have gotten rid of the "free" remote-only attendance,
and that is what we originally (AFAIK) had the jabber scribe function for.

Thee can be participants with audio send challenges that want to have thier
question relayed through the meetecho chat/jabber. That is a really
nice to have, but i think it is SHOULD, so i think it should be sufficient
to mention it this way during chair slides, but not mandate an official
    function for this.

The ability for chairs to multitask all relevant functions present heavily
on the use of the "present uploaded slides" instead of screen-share. If
i am presenting slides as a chair from my notebook for a presenter, it
nees to be full-screen so it does not help to have multiple windows i
can not see. If i had a second screen on my notebook that might solve it.
But it would really be nice if one could join to the same session from
more than one computer (2nd notebook to monitor meetecho chat/queue).

The new upload slides feaure is cool though, and works pretty well!

    Cheers
        Toerless
