Yes, google translate, especially the live-camera to screen translation has been very helpful for me, especially with chinese. And i very much hope that starting up with IETF for non-native speakers these days is also easier than it might have been in the past due to such tools. But i think once you start wanting to contribute to the IETF work product, you will be happy when you have spent cycles on training your brain itself with english as opposed to training solely the use of tools to avoid that. Then again, if we are going down the rabbit hole of ever more computer languages forming the core of our work product, we may wake up one day and see how the english in our RFCs has become just irrelevant filler words. And i am not even sure how much of that evolution i wouldn't call a good thing.
