Hi Wes (and list peeps).

To learn about IETF - i thought i'd try to do something useful, but, i' not
lacking confidence about the 'correct approach', as, i've never seen it...

in-effect, there's two loosely coupled notions;

1. Humanitarian ICT GENERALLY....

2. the use of a particular notion (proposed RFC) - 'Agent Discovery
Protocol' (ADP) that is also intended to support (1).

ideally via TLS Cert (SANs) but i've also been playing with dns record
version (that i think is not ideal, but easy).
(sailingdigital.com easier to remember than, say, the ecash id illustrated
- but private/perissive data not intended for adp - that's what the
solid uris seek to illustrate, but, users could migrate between providers -
method aims to be so easy, domain registrars could do it - but that, it has
lots of applications for organisations, like the 'humanitarianist' site
example); thinking is, ontology via w3c but protocol via ietf...  and,

the humanitarian ict stuff as a linked activity?  perhaps therein - look to
create a group for humanitarian ict, and one of the projects it does is the
adp idea?  idk.. newbie...

Questions / Considerations.
1. There's a 'hotRFC' process - 4 minutes - should I seek to do 1 or 2?
2. there's an ability to seek to create a side-meeting:

3. looks like planning needs to be done prior to hackathon - whilst -
progress is expected to be made during hackathon..

Overall, I'm new here - so - was looking for some guidance about the 'best
way' to approach it.  my hope is to find others who want to improve
'humanitarian ict' support...  at large.

any tips?  someone in AU who i can call / call me?
