With normal humans having a body temperature of 37C this seems to  
indicate the tap is quite well calibrated then.

It aims to save water, aka natural resources. Don't worry, one day  
the US will evolve enough to grasp the concept and it will all make  
sense, in the meantime, consider it to be magic ;)
