Hmm.  While I agree, I see it, perhaps oddly, as another
communications problem: knowing what to expect at the meeting
site is more important to me than what particular approach is
taken.  I'm perfectly capable of carrying water around with me
if I know that is necessary and suspect other IETF members are
too.   But I'd prefer to not drag the bottle -- even a
collapsible one -- if it isn't going to be needed.
