There are four telephone booths inside the Hilton on the lobby level
just off the elevator foyer from which one can make free calls to any
Czech toll free number, such as the AT&T Czech access number for calls
back to the USA.

To be fair, that is documented on a card in my room, just by the phone.

Not quite. The room charge listed daily is the total including VAT.
In the summary at the bottom it's broken out separately, but that
is for accounting purposes, for reclaims in cases where VAT
can be reclaimed. That is pretty standard in the EU, where
companies can often reclaim VAT paid on business costs.
