It might be that it is just a question of time.

When is 3GPP going to start working on 6G?

That would help us in writing a timeline.  We already have a rough idea 
of timeline on 6G, but I am not sure how right is it.

In this speculative timeline in year 2030 the 6G will do the first 
deployments for public at large.

In year 2028 the first trial deployments outdoors.

Between 2024 and 2028 something about 5G+.

What do you think?

Or maybe a new acronym might come out and there would be no 6G as a 
successor to 5G?
