Dear 6lo WG,

Many thanks to everyone who has replied to the call for adoption of
draft-li-6lo-path-aware-semantic-addressing-01.

We have seen:
- 5 responses in favor of adoption from non-authors
- 6 responses in favor of adoption from authors
- 1 response against adoption (*)

(*) The two main concerns were regarding the lack of a security
considerations section and whether the topic was rather related with
routing (therefore, perhaps out of scope of the 6lo charter). However, as
discussed, WG adoption means that the WG is willing to work on the topic
(i.e., the document does not need to be complete at the time of WG
adoption), and while the doubt about routing may arise at first sight, the
document uses stateless forwarding instead of actual routing. Another
concern was lack of a well-defined target wired MAC; however, some L2
examples have been mentioned in past meetings (they may still be mentioned
in the document), and the fact that the solution can be relatively generic
may actually be a positive feature.

Based on the feedback received, our decision is that the draft is now
adopted as a 6lo WG document.

@Authors: please submit the document as draft-ietf-6lo-....-00.

Thanks,

Shwetha and Carles
