Be warned that water heaters that just shortly boil the water are not
enough to kill all bacteria/viruses.

I've just gotten ill from water treatment plant accident(?) in Finland:
http://www.yle.fi/news/id76481.html , and the instructions from health
officials say to boil water for 5 minutes, and specifically mention that
for example tea heaters are not sufficient to do the work.
