Sorry, I'm from Europe, and I expect to be able to wear a shirt in a  
meeting room.

I'm seeing a number of people wearing heavy outdoor gear here in Salon  
3.
This is utterly ridiculous.

The problem is not the temperature (which by itself is fine), but the  
amount of airflow that is apparently needed to keep it low.
US-style thermostats seem to try to keep the absolute temperature  
constant, ignoring wind chill.
Blowing lots of cold air at the 10 kW of human heating (plus laptops)  
in this room is not saving any energy.
