There is an ATM machine in the Central Station, near the exit door (and internet cafe) to the Vasagatan, that accept AMEX card for cash withdrawth. I got cash from there before.

Probably true, but Amex cards are (as all other major credit cards)
widely accepted for payment in Sweden. But for cash-withdrawal, for
some reason they are not as generally accepted.
