Dear Ronald,

Thanks for your report. Probably you're #1 arrival before any
local team members :-)

The bus costs 1,300 JPY one-way. For those who will arrive at
Hiroshima Airport from Incheon or Taipei, I'd suggest you to change
your money into JPY at least 5,000 JPY prior to bording (Ticket
vending machines in the domestic terminal accept 1000/5000/10000 JPY
bills as well as coins) to minimize hasssle in Hiroshima Airport. As
Ronald suggested, the ticket vending machines don't accept credit
cards.

> There did not seem to be an ATM at the domestic terminal.

Actually there is an ATM machine in the post office at the departure
level of the domestic terminal. But don't depent it; it is at the
other end of the domestic terminal to the international termainal, it
is available 9am to 8pm in weekday and 9am to 5pm in weekend, and
operation of the ATM machine is very complicated.

I talked several Taxi drivers in Hiroshima. While they understood
"Crowneplaza Hotel", they preferred to refer the hotel as "ANA, or
"Anna" as Ole suggested (see the following)
       http://www.yikes.com/~ole/store/Hiroshima/Hiroshima.html

Anyway, have a safe trip to Hiroshima, please!
