Return to top TIP OF THE WEEK Properly Formatting Business Cover Letters Question: What is the proper format for the business cover letter that will accompany my visa application? Answer: In general, business cover letters must be on company letterhead, must be signed by a member of the company other than the applicant, must include the nature of the visit and a guarantee that the company will be financially responsible for the traveler during the trip. Additional detail may be required. For your convenience, CIBT's visa kits includes a sample cover letter to get you started.
