Foxley's (Asian tapa's)
La Palette (very meaty, don't go with vegetarians)
  (then go up the street to Bar Chef, and have yourself a $35 cocktail that is worth every cent,
   chemistry applied to drink-making)
Le Select on Wellington (for lunch)
Noce at Queen and Strachan (Italian)
Beer Bistro is great for beer drinkers, in that they have great food and a great beer list
Terroni on Adelaide (not the one on Queen St W) (Italian)
Harbord House
Boiler House in the Distillery District
Japango for omakase for sushi
Ceili Cottage 
pi-tom's 
Hiro Sushi (some love it, some hate it)
Tapir
Mengrai gourmet thai
Fresh (various locations, all vegetarian)
Veggy Haven (veggy and good vegan selection)
Salad King (low budget, spicy, take the Golden Tofu)
