Following previous successful Internet Society panels, we are organizing a briefing panel on Tuesday, 26 July, 11:45am - 12:45pm EDT, in conjunction with IETF 81 in Quebec City: Internet Evolution - Where is "there" and how do we get "there" from here? Panelists will discuss their views of the most pressing challenges for the evolution of the Internet, and on the right ways to approach the longer-term innovation problems that need a more structured approach -- through research or otherwise. The difficulty of deploying changes on the operational Internet will be an important consideration throughout. Additional information is available at: http://www.isoc.org/conferences/InternetEvolution Due to high demand and limited space at previous panel events, the Internet Society is providing advance information about registration. Online registration will open on 11 July in two time blocks. To account for the broad range of home timezones of IETF participants, half of the available spaces available will be open for registration at 00:01 UTC on 11 July, with the remaining spaces made available at 12:01 UTC. For those unable to attend, we expect to provide a live (and archived) audiocast, available at the webpage above. Kevin Craemer Senior Events Manager Internet Society craemer@isoc.org
