No.  If you look at a map, the only way from Toronto to Quebec is to go 
through Montreal.  You'll be taking a very roundabout route that goes all 
the way around Lake Ontario.  I'd suggest rebooking on the the train to 
Montreal, which has better scenery than the train to Toronto, and spending 
the night in Montreal, which has better restaurants than Toronto.  (I like 
Toronto, but food and scenery are not its strong points.)

Canadian trains are often late, so it's somewhat risky.  There is another 
train at 18:25 you could catch if need be.
