which reminds me that I really wish the current MIME documents were
clearer about the inappropriateness of using "x-" names in *any*
protocol definition. If you're going to do an experiment, you can use
"x-", but as soon as you write a spec that you intend for anyone else
to read, then REGISTER YOUR TYPE. There's no value at all in
the proliferation of "x-" media type names.
