If anyone is interested in open water swimming, let me know! I think mornings may be easier for me.

It looks like the locals go to English Bay beach 1. They do have 2 organized swims (that I could find) that range from 1-4 kilometers, but are during the plenary sessions. The water temperature should be in the low 70s, but I have not found an exact reading, just averages for this time of year. I am packing a sleeveless wetsuit, and a bright cap (for those that may want to consider packing these items).

Please email me directly if you are interested. It looks like the beach is less than a mile from the meeting venue.

There is also a saltwater pool that is 150 yards, but is a little further.

Thank you,
Kathleen
