> Not sure what you mean that "TSA Pre ... accepts the GE card." You become eligible for Pre-Check if you have elite FF status in one of the currently participating airlines and/or enter your GE or other CBP Trusted Traveller program ID numbers in the participating airline information or in your PNR, but you don't need or use a GE card for any of this, and the GE card serves no purpose. If you're Pre-Check eligible, the TSA *may* select you for expedited screening on a per-departure basis. There is no opportunity nor benefit to having or showing the card. You either are (a) eligible and selected for expedited screening on a specific departure, (b) are not eligible or eligible but not selected.

Unfortunately, the Global Entry interviewers have been spreading the "card gets you into the Pre-Check queue" rumor at DFW. They explicitly told my wife that when she had he had her interview. It took quite a bit of explaining on how organizations develop "lore" vs "training" to convince her that the interviewer was mistaken. It didn't matter anyway, because she was already eligible for Pre-Check via her AA status.
