My recollection is that you can get a GE card using the GOES web 
site.  GOES is the unified web interface to apply for and manage 
membership in all CBP Trusted Traveller programs (Global Entry, 
NEXUS, SENTRI).  I haven't bothered to apply for a GE card since I'm 
not sure it provides any benefit for those of us who don't plan to 
cross the border by car or ship.

Also, there should be significantly fewer hoops to obtain NEXUS now 
that you have Global Entry.  You'll have to apply via GOES, and have 
an interview and iris scan at a NEXUS enrollment center, but the 
background check and related hoops should be skipped or abridged 
since you're a GE enrollee.
