We met with hotel management. They said they were overbooked last night and were vey apologetic. 14 IETFers were "walked" to two different hotels last night. Their room costs and Internet expenses are being taken care of by the Caribe. They will be given priority for return. If that cannot happen we have asked for upgrading to a Caribe quality facility in accordance with the contract. Non-IETFers were also walked last night.

Today 24 IETFers are checking in. Once again, the hotel is overbooked. They asked us to identify VIPs, which we declined to do. We said we want all of our attendees to be accommodated. They said they would make that a priority and would notify me of their ability to do so.

I will keep you informed of developments.
