A tip: If you, like I did, discover that your room has exactly zero open outlets (visible), you may be able to do a bit of rearrangement to solve this while retaining use of the lamp at your desk… My room has 2 outlets at the desk, one occupied by a lamp, the other by an alarm clock (inconveniently placed across the room from the bed, because there are no outlets bedside…) I discovered that there are two open outlets behind the TV, owing to the fact that there is not a minibar in the cabinet under the TV anymore. The cabinet pulls out easily, and the TV can be moved to that outlet, enabling the alarm clock to be moved to the now open outlet behind the standalone minibar upon which it sits, and that provides an open outlet for laptop, plus a second open outlet behind the TV. YMMV as far as room layout, etc, but I figured that there might be some folks who didn’t think to travel with a multi-plug or power strip that might find this useful info. Then you can just go back to being saddened that a “modern” hotel thinks that a single visibly available outlet (and none near the bed) is an acceptable arrangement for a modern traveler instead of being amazed that the same thinks that zero visibly available outlets (actually -2 available if you count the kettle and iron) is an acceptable arrangement. Wes Anything below this line has been added by my company’s mail server, I have no control over it. ----------- ________________________________ This E-mail and any of its attachments may contain Time Warner Cable proprietary information, which is privileged, confidential, or subject to copyright belonging to Time Warner Cable.
