This involves buying a more expensive express ticket on a train that doesn't stop at Bletchley, then travelling back from Milton Keynes where it does stop. It is on the timetable so the rail company can say there are 4 trains an hour but is way too much trouble, just wait for the next direct train. -- Rob.
