But things like hot water are basic assumptions for a hotel room. It would be reasonable to ask for a room change, or compensation if the room change is not available. Perhaps if that happened often enough, they would prioritize said overhaul.

OTOH, maybe I can sell hot water from my overheated tap ;-)
