As the number of IPv4 addresses dwindles and ISPs have to resort to things like carrier grade NAT to provide IPv4 connectivity. I'm currently at one of the big four. We've started production IPv6 trials (staff only), i'd be very surprised if it was more than a year before widespread deployment. CPE firmware is currently being upgraded to support dual stack in preparation. Likely see per BNG enablement to start with, then once any issues have been discovered/fixed, full enablement. -Arran
