I've got 824 and called BT due to very poor (laptop) to nonexistent (ipad/iphone) wireless connections.

Their response -- "There is an access point right outside your room.  What devices are you using?"  Me - "Ipad/Iphone"  Them - "Oh!  You need to turn down brightness and turn off background to boost power to wifi."  Uh...yeah.  

Indeed, if I go right into the hallway full bars.  In the room - not so much.  I'm too tired to deal with it now, but may look at moving...
