I have a similar thing.

I was orginally charged around 1050 GBP, but on checkout I complained about the lack of hot water and asked for a discount. They offered 20%, which left the bill at around 800 GBP, but I’ve seen no final invoice/receipt at all. I won’t see what’s on my credit card until I see the statement.

Maybe they applied a 20% discount for the lack of hot water to other people too?

IETF organisation: 5*
Hotel organisation: rather less.

Overall, a great event though.
