Oh, come on Ted, you're not being reasonable!

Henning used the word "sandwiches" and you immediately jumped to the 
conclusion that all hotel-made veggie ones are bad and for THAT reason 
this would kill the idea for you. Can you just for one minute try to 
think about some, any food option that you could combine with a 
plenary, something that could be implemented in a grab-an-go fashion?
Can we just for ONCE discuss a general idea and concept in the IETF 
without getting bogged down in engineering details? I realize that if
lunch involves wine, romantic music and and a 12-course tasting menu
it might be difficult to implement in combination with a plenary, but
I hope that isn't what we are talking about.

As for "privilege," I have no idea what you're talking about, but then
again English is only my second language.
