As you may remember, we carried out three Wi-Fi privacy experiments at the past IETF91, IEEE 802 March plenary, and IETF92 meetings. >From now on the Wi-Fi privacy network setup will be part of the normal IETF and IEEE 802 networks, supporting hence users that are running clients with private MAC addresses. The IEEE has issued a press release about the experiments and this has created good interest from the media.
