Hmm, I guess I’ve just been lucky in the taxis I’ve flagged down to date. But they do stop for a simple hail signal, and seem to be numerous on main roads. Fares are much cheaper than those where you start with the taxi that’s waiting outside the Hilton door (going to a place seems about double the cost of haling a cab to come back the same distance the other way :).  The journeys have been metered, so you can see how quickly, or not, your fare is stacking up.

But the easiest way to get around to the main places has been the free transport pass, which has been a great thing to have at this IETF - well done to those who thought of that and implemented it!
