I think of the current arrangement as the "Paris schedule", because
we introduced it for IETF 63, since the old schedule with "dinner"
at 5:30 p.m. would have been laughable in Paris, where many restaurants
simply don't serve meals that early.

But people liked it better, for the reason Kireeti gave, so it stuck.

As long as people want to arrive on Sunday and leave on Friday
afternoon, it's hard to see what to change.
