The two plenaries add up to 5 hours. If they didn’t take up real meeting time, we could shorten each meeting day by one hour.

That would mean getting the plenaries back to the end of the day, and anyone who wanted an early dinner could skip them.

But regardless, for “real IETF-ers”, the ones who don’t come for just a few sessions, an IETF week is always pretty intense.
