We need more people who are willing to be mentors for newcomers at the IETF.   Please let me know if you might be available.

Your task is to help the newcomer to navigate their initial IETF meeting.  You will serve as a guide to the IETF culture.  They may want to have an introduction to the WG chairs of the group they are interested in or other people involved in the process.   You will attend the Newcomer's Meet and Greet with your mentee where you may introduce them, as appropriate.   We hope this will become a long lasting relationship, but of course, that is between you and the mentee.

I can tell you that mentees very much appreciate the help.
