In IETF 89 STRAW and AVTEXT got scheduled to meet in parallel in two different rooms (in a slot longer than either of us had requested), and we agreed with AD/secretariat to meet sequentially in the same room. There was no specific handover time (beyond an estimate on the agenda), the second group started a few minutes after the previous group finished.

Partly as a result of this, for IETF 90 they agreed to make more 1 hour slots available, although possible they could still go even further in this direction.
