I found out that my reservation was spontaneously cancelled without notice soon after I booked when the IETF reservations opened.

I found out accidentally when talking to the Hilton chain about another matter.

After contacting the Prague hotel, I was re-booked under another confirmation number. Its not clear whether that was happening already or whether my call was what fixed the issue.

Sooo… I wonder if the high-rate is due to some administrative error?
