My trick is 

1. Avoid flights which arrive in the morning (Afternoon/evening arrival flights are preferred.)
2. Stay up the entire flight (watch movies)

Main objective is to maximize how tired you are when you hit the sack so that you’ll sleep through your biological alarm clock.
