All the complexity goes away if endpoints have recursive resolvers, and
enterprises use restricted-view subdomains ("corp.example.com").
In that context, ADD is about finding a local secure "forwarders"

The problem we have is that IETF has never defined Split-Horizon DNS.
(AFAIK)

It's just happened.     Now, this document is proposing changes to an
architecture which was never previously well defined.
