This is to inform this list, that acting as the list moderator for the admin-discuss mailing list, I have restricted Dan Harkin’s posting rights to the list in response to his message below, which I consider to be unprofessional, uncivil and racist.  Racism takes many forms and attacking, belittling and ridiculing anti-racist efforts or sentiment is one of them.

In taking this action I have taken a lead from the SOP for the IETF Discussion List moderators [1] and given the egregious nature of this post, moved immediately to a level 2 action and restricted posting.  I have also consulted with the IESG and LLC Board chair before taking this action.
