Hi,
Here's another issue for design team comments.
There was a suggestion during the IETF that we should go for an early IANA allocation
for the port number and LL multicast addresses needed for GRASP. That means some
tuning of the existing IANA Considerations. Before I do that, any further comment
on the basics?
ALL_GRASP_NEIGHBOR multicast address (IPv6): (TBD1). Assigned in
the IPv6 Link-Local Scope Multicast Addresses registry.
ALL_GRASP_NEIGHBOR multicast address (IPv4): (TBD2). Assigned in
the IPv4 Multicast Local Network Control Block.
Section 3.5 explains the following UDP and TCP port, which IANA is
requested to assign for use by GRASP:
GRASP_LISTEN_PORT: (TBD3)
