Hi all,

The existing draft on the scope and gap analysis has been updated. Your reviews and suggestions for clarifying the work are appreciated.
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-peng-apn-scope-gap-analysis/

The scope of the work being focused here is within an Network Operator controlled limited domain as shown in Figure 1 of the draft, and MPLS, VXLAN, SR/SRv6, NSH and other tunnel technologies can be adopted to carry information which is tagged at the edge devices of this controlled network domain to provide services within this domain. The information is generally what is missing or lost when packets enter the domain, e.g., the VPN information or the site group information, etc., which would be impossible to use existing mechanisms such as DSCP to mark.

Best Regards,
Shuping
