I believe what I said is feedback:

That is, if Mark had gotten grumpier a year earlier and we already made draft-ietf-appsawg-uri-get-off-my-lawn a BCP, it would *prevent* the WEIRDS WG from doing what is in draft-ietf-weirds-using-http-08, assuming that the Apps ADs wanted to enforce it. A BCP full of MUSTs that are ignored does not sound like a good idea.

Asking Pete and Barry to give direction now to this WG and/or to WEIRDS seems appropriate, given the mere timing issue.
