You know, as I think about this, my key question is why remove it?

If that's not essential, then we can just have future versions use a
different header field name, so instead of:

Authentication-Results: example.org/2 [...]

We have:

Authentication-Results-2: example.org [...]

A simplistic M*A might be confused by the presence of the first, but surely
would simply ignore the presence of the second form?
