never assume anything about obsolete applications in general. Unless we 
really need to deprecate some, because it creates serious dangers to the 
network security, let the old stuff there. You will find a still non 
neglegible amount of use around.

... I still by time to time receive e-mails originated in X.400 via a 
gateway... and I still have a PDP 11 running incredibly fast on a virtual 
machine on my laptop mac. :-)
